Triple B International, an international investment group, has bought Stock Exchange Court, a mixed-use property in Glasgow city centre, from a fund managed by Columbia Threadneedle Investments for £23.56 million.

At the corner of Buchanan Street and Nelson Mandela Place, the 56,000-square-foot Category A listed Venetian Gothic building was originally built between 1875 and 1877 as the home of the Glasgow Stock Exchange. At present it comprises a mix of retail, leisure, office and healthcare occupiers.

Tenants include Urban Outfitters, The North Face, Dishoom and the NHS.

Thomas Bata, director of Triple B International, said in a statement: “Stock Exchange Court is a true Glasgow landmark: rich in history, beautifully positioned, and deeply embedded in the life of the city. This acquisition reflects our conviction in high-quality, mixed-use assets that combine legacy, location and long-term relevance while contributing positively to the communities they serve.”

Triple B International’s UK real estate portfolio includes OMNi Centre Edinburgh and 7 Birchin Lane, London. The firm said it is focused on "prime locations, landmark architecture and responsible long-term asset stewardship".
