Tic-Tac... Tic-Tac... Tic-Tac... “We have almost six months left before the delivery of the 64 books and not a day more! ”, exclaimed Nicolas Ferrand, executive director general of the Olympic Book Delivery Company (Solideo), on June 1, during its presentation at the 29th study tour of Real Estate Clubs Club in Saint-Denis. Solideo, created by the law of 28 February 2017, is responsible for the delivery of the works and development operations necessary for the organization and conduct of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games before midnight on 31 December 2023. Date from which the Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (Cojo) will be responsible for equipping the structures and testing them before the start of the Games: “Solideo is a public industrial and commercial establishment chaired by Anne Hidalgo and that will disappear around the end of 2027,” explains Nicolas Ferrand. “The great uniqueness of the Games in Paris is the ecosystem in which they are deployed: the London Games had a single contractor; in Paris, we have 30 different ones to deliver our 64 books, and 13 funders.”
