A grocer has purchased a warehouse on Long Island, New York, from a subsidiary of The Home Depot.
Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace, a grocery store with 11 locations in New York and New Jersey, bought the 53,600-square-foot warehouse located at 77 Rodeo Drive in Edgewood for $13.46 million, or approximately $251 per square foot. The seller was US Lock Corp.
The warehouse was constructed in 1970 and includes 12,500 square feet of office space. Other features include 26-foot ceiling heights, five loading docks, one drive-in door and 70 parking spaces.
