Commuting between Toulouse and Paris is not really a problem for the new boss of GA. It must be said that this native of Strasbourg spent a lot of time during his childhood. From Nancy to Paris via Lyon, Sébastien Matty then changed his home every two years, according to the career of his father, an enarch and a high-ranking official at the Caisse des Dépôts. The youngest of a family of two boys, the young man acclimatized quite well to these successive exiles. “It gave me a certain ability to adapt,” he admits. Rather gifted for studies without being very hard-working at the time, Sébastien Matty did not have the vocation. “I let myself be carried away. I don't ask myself a lot of questions. But I am never better than when I am at the foot of the wall. I like to run into difficulties. It's the way I work,” he admits, probably drawing this energy from the difficult story of his father, who built himself alone.
